Welcome

For over 30 years, Central Florida’s seasons have shifted and evolved —

-And so has our passion for nurturing the land and the people who live on it.

At Good Dirt Landscaping, we believe every space holds the potential to become a living, thriving ecosystem — one that nourishes, heals, and inspires.

Whether it’s a vibrant food forest, a thoughtfully designed native landscape, or a hands-on garden education experience, our work is rooted in one simple truth: when you care for the earth, it cares for you right back.

We’ve spent more than a decade helping families and communities create gardens that feed both body and spirit. Our team blends deep horticultural knowledge with a heartfelt commitment to sustainability — guiding you every step of the way so your garden doesn’t just grow, it flourishes.

If you’ve been dreaming of a space that reconnects you to nature, provides fresh abundance, and brings peace to your daily life — welcome home.
You’re in good hands with Good Dirt Landscaping.

Your garden is waiting — let’s grow it together.

Leah Hagen

Owner — Landscape Designer & Food Forest Coach and Garden Educator

When I was five, I planted a sunflower seed with my grandmother, and it grew taller than me. I was captivated — not just by the beauty of what we grew, but by the connection it created between us. That simple joy of nurturing life has stayed with me ever since.

Hi, I’m Leah, founder of Good Dirt Landscaping. I design and install Food Forests and teach outdoor education for children and adults — because it’s my passion, and my purpose. It’s an honor to carry forward the legacy of those who taught me to care for the earth and to share its wonder, fragility, and grace with others.

Whether you’re dreaming of a small garden, a full food forest, or a hands-on class that reconnects you to nature — I’d love to meet you and help you grow something beautiful.

Thanks for choosing Good Dirt.

Leah

Mandy Roworth

Grower, Install Assistant, Annual Plant Propagation Guru

Agriculture has been my profession for many years. After completing a BA in Agricultural Studies, I coordinated community gardens, farmed local organic food, then moved to nursery management at Bok Tower Gardens. Until I traded one nursery for another when my daughter arrived!

One important value at Good Dirt is passing on the love of growing. These days I’m mostly found working behind the scenes in our nursery and food forest; growing colorful abundance with my daughter learning beside me. I also love to paint,  bring the same vibrant colors and expressions you see in nature to life on canvas!

Every yard can be a teaching space or a blank canvas ready to be painted, let’s grow abundance worth sharing in your space!
